WWH ambient is now more like horror movie soundtrack [please, don't think that I mentioned those dismemmbering and butchering depictions as horror, as I think the real horror you can expect to know, is invisible and in many cases it is just unknown what makes you fear. And may be there is not the reason to fear.].

[TFN264] Wrong Way Home - Sounds From The Fog II: Unreal Dawn [2009]

This is the third WWH album on RedSKs TFN label.
The way is more calm and melancholic, less noise, more ambient and drones. So, this is the album which made me to trip in some deep and bizarre nooks of my mind. Then I started to feel that I have to go more ambient way. Strange, dark album. But, personally the feeling was not as dark as making following "Clashes To Clashes, Gust To Gust", which I feel as something paranormal in the way it makes me feel.
Unreal Dawn features voice sample Robert Frost, reading his "Fire and Ice" and also sample from Latvian comic show "Ak, kungs!" ("Oh, Lord!").
This blog entry contains the correct version of the front cover, in TFN archive the cover mistakenly says Sounds From The Bog.

Now, this is painful. Brutal Close Encounters of the Fourth kind or The Abductions. Abrasive melodic noise expresses the pain abductees could experience during their unpleasant adventures. More traditional WWH sound after the ambient detour.

Wrong Way Home - Weedway [2009]

Next album after "Clashes To Clashes, Gust To Gust" is very uncharacteristic for Wrong Way Home. A little bit sentimental, strange mixture of light and dark ambient tended music. In "The Rain" weird drum sounds expresses the sound of water drops, while in "Weedway" hell knows what is that. Reminds something from Middle East. The "Galedogs" is something like boiling pot of fat molecules. Guilty, but I am not able to describe that track now in any other way. "Sounds From The Fog: Raising Headquarters" with its minimal humming structure continues trip to darker world from "Clashes To Clashes, Gust To Gust". So does the final track "Taos Light", which gives its due to Taos Hum phenomena.

This album the deepest trip into MPK mind or on the [Wrong] Way Home so far. This is the story about invisible world amogst us, about influence of metaphysical dimensions to our mind, feelings, consciousness and subconsciousness.
Drones, hum ("Clashes to Clashes" and "Gust to Gust" and slow rhythmical motion of radio noises drives into heavy state of trance, but wah-wah of "We Shall Come Again" towards the end slightly leads off from it to the kind of sentimental feeling of infinitude.

[2008] Wrong Way Home - Hotel Doom

Don't go into Room 1408. Go into Hotel Doom. This album has an effect as good as one hour in the the Room 1408. But actually it is not intended as soundtrack for "1408". That hotel is more unmhuman, I think only the ghosts reside here.
